Cash Counts and Point of Sale Reconciliations
Cash Counts, Cash Reconciliation or Cash Position, Point of Sale Reconciliations and Bank Reconciliations form part of AMCS's Fraud Prevention and Detection Services to Prevent and Detect loss of cash or sales receipts due to Fraud. Timely and regular Cash Counts, Cash Reconciliation or Cash Position, Point of Sale Reconciliations and Bank Reconciliations are important to Prevent and quickly Detect the loss of cash or sales receipts due to Fraud. Independent Cash Counts and Reconciliations also reduce the risk of loss due fraud from collusion amongst employees and/or collusion amongst employees and outside vendor/customers.
Cash Counts Cash Reconciliation or Cash Position, Point of Sale Reconciliations and Bank Reconciliations can be performed daily, weekly or monthly based on the nature of the entity’s activities and its requirements. If instances of Misuse or Missappropriation of Assets are identified during the review, AMCS can resolve anomalies or instances of suspected fraud by performing Fraud Investigation (Fraud Examination) Services.
